Inside Plants has been around for 45 years. We are an interior landscaping company that services areas from Orange County to Coachella valley and everywhere in between.
We are looking for someone to join our team, to organize and maintain our small warehouse, greenhouse, deliver, install plants and planters to our accounts. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is very organized and can problem solve on the spot. You will be loading/unloading plants and planters that at times can exceed 75lbs, heavy lifting is a must. The ideal candidate will be a great team player as well as being able to work independently, with excellent time management skills. You must have great customer service skills as you will be interacting with both vendors and customers at times.
Responsibilities include and not limited to:
Receiving plant deliveries and container orders
Tracking plant and planter inventory in warehouse
Maintaining plants in greenhouse (water, pruning, & trimming)
Driving to accounts and suppliers in company vehicle, including 16' box truck
Organize, maintain and keep warehouse clean!
Learn names of plants (will train)
Cover routes on occasion (will receive technician training)
Qualification Requirements:
Requires CA driver’s license and proof of car insurance
Must have a good driving record. DMV print out is required at the time of interview. https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/dmv/detail/online/dr/welcome
Forklift experience would be nice.
Must have good organizational and time management skills, high attention to detail.
Physical Strength (occasional heavy lifting of plant and planters, can exceed 75lb at times)
Must be able to work Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30 pm, flexible schedule will be required on occasion and can start as early at 5:30am.
This position starting pay is $19.00 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
