Criminal Defense firm is seeking an attorney to join our team. Our firm fights to protect the rights of accused DUI drivers by defending them in their cases both with the courts and the DMV.
Responsibilities:
Understanding case information and DUI charges; presenting legal options, including plea bargains; explaining ramifications of conviction; maintaining rapport.
Provides legal advice on DUI law issues by conducting legal research; keeping clients abreast of case developments; analyzing prosecutor's position; providing explanations of DUI law concepts and actions.
Develops DUI cases by reviewing investigative findings; consulting with experts; completing discovery process.
Completes DUI case preparation by preparing legal briefs; developing strategies, arguments, and testimony.
Familiarity with DUI and vehicle-related crimes, including DMV-APS hearings.
