United Staffing Associates is looking for a Fabrication Steel MIG Welder with 3 years of experience- for one of our manufacturing companies. Great opportunity to work for a company that makes a difference in our communities.
The candidate needs to have experience in welding and fabrication mild steel, and various welding techniques and the ability to read blueprints and schematics
This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced metal fabrication shop
Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools for precise work
Experience operating forklifts
Strong understanding of fabrication techniques related to sheet metal work
Perform MIG Welding with high-quality welds that meet industry standards. Prep fit, tack/angle/plate
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment with safety and effectively.
Conduct fabrication tasks including cutting, pipe threading and hole punching and drilling.
Operate safely machinery such as welders, drills, press, saws and cutting tools.
Fabrication on mild steel production weldments,
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
