United Staffing Associates has an opening for one of our large manufacturing companies in Riverside- they are looking for a full time 2nd 2:45pm-11:15pm shift Quality Control person that has injection molding knowledge and experience. Must be flexible to train in the AM for four weeks and flexibility to work weekends rotating schedule every 5 weeks.

Report discrepancies to shift Lead Inspector and/or Technician.
Relieve Production Inspectors for breaks as applicable.
Oversees the beginning and ending partial counts and ensures the accuracy of those counts as applicable.
Turn in production counts, Verifies labels have all the correct information as applicable.
Approves in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating defects found in product to Technician and/or Production Lead.
Verifies that raw materials type and lot number on gaylords and dryers are assigned to the right injection molding machines.
Performs dimensional inspection, as required in accordance with the applicable Inspection Standards and Instructions (ISI) of the product being manufactured at assigned injection molding machines.
Functional inspection of product being manufactured at assigned injection molding machines, as required, using specific fixtures, gages, and instrumentation.
Reads blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product to comply with customer requirements.
Performs final inspection of product being manufactured at assigned injection molding machines (AQL)
Performs start-up and shut-down reports and forward to management and appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate and legible inspection records and documentation for assigned injection molding machines.
Fills out a PIDR or DMR for quality discrepancies not meeting with customer specifications. Identifying, describing and record product discrepancies as they relate to injection molding.
