Sewing Machine Operator
Ruffian Specialties is a small manufacturer of firefighter gear bags. We have an immediate opening for an experienced sewing machine operator. You will primarily be responsible for sewing firefighter gear bags according to the pattern and sample. This is a very steady business as most of our work is government related.
Requirements:
Must possess strong sewing skills with walking foot single and double needle machines
Should be able to read patterns
Basic fabric cutting experience a plus
Should have good communication skills
Be able to work well with others
Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
Language: Bilingual is a plus (English & Spanish)
Rate: $16.00 - $18.00
Paid Vacation: 5 Days Per Year
Paid Sick Time: 5 Days Per Year
Paid Holidays: 5 Days Per Year
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Typically 6:30AM to 3:00PM
