A "Quality Inspector Manufacturing " job description would detail the responsibilities of an individual who meticulously examines tiles during production to ensure they meet established quality standards, including checking for size accuracy, surface consistency, color uniformity, and any visible defects, utilizing measuring tools and visual inspection techniques to identify and report any issues that may affect the final product quality.
Using measuring tools like calipers or gauges to verify title size and thickness within specified tolerances and have worked with measuring tools
Address and rectify problems communication all to Quality Manager
Ensuring all inspection procedures comply with established quality standards and company guidelines
Documents inspection,completing reports and logs, summarize re-work and inputs data into quality database, record inspection
Perform In -Process Inspection
Must have good verbal and written skills in English language. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Attention to detail and very organized, Work under deadline-oriented environment
Blueprint reading, specifications, and inspection instructions, Analytical skills
Knowledge of MRP, QSM, system
Perform inspection duties prioritized by due date.
Knowledge or experience in inspection environment
Basic knowledge with Microsoft Office suite.
Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.+
