The PAW Mission in Yucaipa, CA is actively seeking an experienced and dependable full-time Registered Vet Technician (RVT) to assist veterinarians as they spay and neuter cats at our high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter (HQHVSN) cat clinic.

ABOUT THE PAW MISSION
The PAW Mission is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that has our own HQHVSN mobile unit, while also maintaining a 5 acre sanctuary and an annual intake of over 1500 animals. Our programs include innovative adoption programs like our Rodent Ranger Cat Teams, humane education, and our HQHVSN Unit that will help make veterinary care more accessible and affordable to underserved communities.
Our small, close-knit team is comprised of genuine animal lovers who consistently go above and beyond to provide every pet in their care with the very best medical treatment possible.
As a PAW Mission RVT, you should have at least one year of experience and be fully proficient in all required technical duties. Equally important are an upbeat attitude, compassion and personal integrity, a strong work ethic, the ability to multi-task and work quickly and accurately, the ability to work independently as well as part of a highly skilled team, and a desire to provide excellent patient care and make a positive and lasting difference in our community.
REGISTERED VET TECHNICIAN (RVT) QUALIFICATIONS
Current Registered Veterinary Technician License
Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
Proficient in blood draws, IV catheters, administering treatments, IM injections, vaccinations, microchips, intubation, anesthesia, and monitoring the health and well-being of our patients
REGISTERED VET TECHNICIAN (RVT) WORK SCHEDULE
Our shelter is open 7 days a week, and we are able to accommodate most schedules, to give our team the best work life balance possible. Our RVT will do 4 - 10 hour days, and have 3 days off.
