Job Description:
Delta Trucking Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Dispatcher, Accounts Receivable/Payable. This position requires a strong understanding of the transportation industry, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
Dispatching:
Efficiently assign drivers to routes and loads.
Coordinate with customers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the dispatch process.
Job Costing:
Track job costs and ensure accurate billing.
Prepare job cost reports and analyze profitability.
Trucking Accounts Receivable/Payable:
Process invoices and billing statements accurately and timely.
Follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve any payment discrepancies.
Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of all AR and AP transactions.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in transportation software, Microsoft Office Suite, and QuickBooks Online.
Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
