We are seeking a Project Estimator/ Project Engineer to join our team! This would be a full-time position for a Landscape Construction company. You will be preparing material cost projections by analyzing project documents and plans. You will also be generating submittals, RFI’s, change orders, and preparing closeout documents. Experience is required, however pay rate is determined based off experience.
Responsibilities:
Explore documentation to gain a deep understanding of the project requirements
Perform complex analysis of collected data and metrics
Solicit quotes from suppliers for needed material
Research drawing interpretations, problems, conflicts, interferences, and errors
Issue RFI’s to design team
Maintain required project documentation
Create and present reports to upper management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with the key vendors
Communicates with vendors, subcontractors, design team, clients & project managers
Presents construction bids to clients
Prepare material submittals, change orders, & close-out documents
Qualifications:
Previous Knowledge & experience with landscape construction and maintenance preferred
Well organized & reliable
Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Strong leadership qualities
Good time-management skills
Ability to multi-task
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
