Online parts retailer and manufacture is looking for a Fulltime Purchasing and Receiving agent.
This person will oversee all inventory aspects from beginning to end through our QuickBooks / Monday software. This includes setting rules and forecasting for builds. Will work directly with management and provide weekly reports on progress. We are looking for someone reliable who has strong leadership skills and is a motivated team player.
This is not an entry level position. You must have experience as a primary Purchasing Agent or Buyer and receiving and distributing parts to the correct departments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create purchase orders in QuickBooks based on reviewed weekly, monthly, or quarterly purchasing needs
based on vendor ETA
- Handle all sourcing for multiple inventory items in a timely manner
- Constantly review and monitor inventory to make any necessary updates and adjustments
- Manage accurate electronic documentation trail by including PO’s, Order acknowledgements, Item receipts and Posting bills
- Maintain/Manage accurate inventory levels for our Build Assemblies, adjusting Min/Max to optimize inventory.
- Enter or update Bill of Materials (Assemblies) into QuickBooks
- Generate pending Build Assemblies, and enter parts availabilities and projects due dates on our planning software, based on pending Sales Order or Inventory needs
- Plan and assign work projects for the assembly workers when inventory arrives.
- Physically receive and maintain inventory accurate and organized
Requirements:

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, able to work well under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Experience working in QuickBooks and Excel required
