Inspection Representative
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
On-site and visual inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of photovoltaic (PV) systems, including the panels, mounting hardware, electrical wiring, and inverters. They check for any signs of physical damage, loose connections, or potential hazards.
Code and plan compliance: Verify that the installation meets the specific requirements of the approved plans and local building, electrical, and fire codes. This includes checking proper component listing, sizing, and placement.
Documentation and reporting: Create and maintain detailed reports of their findings. If an installation fails, they document the issues and recommend necessary corrections.
Work setting: The role primarily involves fieldwork, working outdoors in various weather conditions and sometimes in low-light conditions.
