Job Description: We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Cannabis Cultivator & Sales Team Member to join our dynamic team. This unique role combines hands-on cultivation responsibilities with direct customer interaction on the sales floor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cannabis cultivation, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to promoting the benefits and responsible use of cannabis.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivation Duties:
Oversee the entire cultivation process from seed to harvest, ensuring the highest quality cannabis.
Monitor plant health, including watering, feeding, pruning, and pest management.
Maintain detailed records of cultivation activities and plant health.
Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations regarding cannabis cultivation.
Collaborate with the cultivation team to implement best practices and improve yield and quality.
Package and label products accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cultivation and packaging areas.
Sales Team Duties:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Educate customers on various cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods.
Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs and preferences.
Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and cultivation area.
Handle sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends.
Assist in inventory management, including restocking and product displays.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in cannabis cultivation, with a strong understanding of plant care and cultivation techniques.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Knowledge of state and local cannabis regulations.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Ability to pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous retail or sales experience, preferably in the cannabis industry.
Certification or training in cannabis horticulture or a related field.
Passion for cannabis and a desire to educate others about its benefits.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (e.g., hot, humid environments in cultivation areas).

Budtenders are the heart and soul of the customer experience at Cannabis21+. They are
responsible for educating customers in clear, concise consultations and with expert product
recommendations. The Budtender role is a sales position that requires superior active listening
skills as well as the ability to ask strategic questions in order to move through the sales process
efficiently. This is not a cashier position. Budtenders report to Managers on Duty (MODs), and
ultimately the retail store’s GM.
Foster an effective, consultative selling approach.
2. Educate customers on the different strains of cannabis, their medicinal uses, and methods
of consumption.
3. Deliver consistent, superior customer service, experience, and satisfaction.
4. Maintain superior product knowledge across all product categories.
5. Accurate cash handling and inventory management.
6. Achieves daily sales goals.
7. Process customer purchases using the dispensary’s Point of Sale (POS) system.
8. Participates in maintaining the dispensary in a clean and well-organized
9. Participates in daily cycle counting, while keeping the dispensary adequately
faced/stocked.
10. Remain informed on new cannabis products and industry trends.
11. Address customer complaints and operational issues promptly.
