Job description: Fireplace Service/Installation Technician
Duties:
This position, duties will include, but not limited to, installation, service and repair of hearth and BBQ products, in-store and in-home sales, estimating/measure/consultation, installation (Inserts, gas logs & glass doors) and assembly of hearth and BBQ products, pickup and delivery, and data entry.
Work hours:
Full-time, 40 hours a week or part time
Tuesday - Saturday 9 am to 5:30 pm
Some Saturdays may be necessary
Requirements:
MUST have experience with fireplace sales, or installation.
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Clean driving record
Must be able to pass a basic background check
Must be able to follow installation instructions
Must be able to read a tape measure
Must know how to use basic tools
You will be working with the public
Computer literate with Word, Excel, email, Intuit POS, Windows, Google, smartphone
Skills needed but not required:
Ability to type
Previous Hearth & BBQ experience a MUST
Electronics knowledge, able to use a multi-meter
Training:
We will train. Some training will come from the Hearth Industry’s education arm and from manufacturer training events.
Pay:
$22.00 per hour to start based on experience plus bonus.
