Senior IT Project Manager
Sierra Cybernetics is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to work for us, supporting our County of Riverside, California client to oversee complex technology projects, ensuring their successful planning, execution, and delivery.
The is a is a short term position (90 days or less) Hybrid (home and downtown Riverside) assignment.
Open to US citizens, green card or H1-B visa holders.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Experience:
5 years in project management
Desired Skills and Experience:
10+ years of project management experience.
Preferred experience in government and healthcare.
PMP certification preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop and manage detailed project plans, including tasks and timelines.
Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main contact for stakeholders, facilitating status updates and communications.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, adjusting plans as needed.
Resource Coordination: Oversee resource allocation and collaborate with the RCIT Executive Team to address challenges.
Execution and Delivery: Lead project tasks, ensuring timely and within-scope delivery.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain project documentation and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
Quality Assurance: Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and conduct post-implementation reviews.
Handover and Transition: Prepare a transition plan for the incoming Senior IT Project Manager and support knowledge transfer.
