Environmental laboratory in Grand Terrace, CA has an opening for an entry level laboratory technician in our inorganic water and waste water division.
Duties include:
* MBAS analysis utilizing manual extraction and colorimeter techniques.
* Oil & Grease / TPH analysis utilizing manual extraction and gravimetric techniques.
* Ortho / Total Phosphate analysis utilizing manual colorimeter techniques.
* Preparation of standards and solutions.
* Entry of analytical results into Laboratory Information Management System.
Qualifications include:
* Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field.
* Classroom experience in instrumental or wet chemistry analysis.
* Attention to details, ability to follow standard operating procedures.
Approximate shift hours are Monday thru Friday 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.
Occasional week end/holiday hours may be required.
