Overview:

Growing manufacturing/distribution company in Pomona, CA., has an immediate opening for an energetic, self-motivated Jr. Sales rep., with 2+ years’ experience in Video Game/Collectible Wholesale market, that will provide sales & customer service support to our company’s busy Sales Department. We are looking for a hard-working individual with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly and handle a variety of job-related job duties effectively and efficiently.

Job Duties Include:

 Handling incoming customer service calls, emails & communications with the ability to respond promptly to customer inquiries, questions, issues & complaints, working closely with purchasing, shipping, and product development departments to find prompt resolutions.

 Assisting sales reps and sales managers in generating and handling sales leads.

 Providing administrative support to sales team (preparing quotes, sales orders/invoicing).

 Seeking a fast learner in acquiring product knowledge and features needed to effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers.

 Ability to conduct market research on industry trends and competitor products and pricing and providing feedback and market insights to sales team to shape sales strategies.

 Processing wholesale orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery, coordinating purchasing & shipping information to other departments.

 Generating sales reports and strong administrative and computer skills to maintain accurate customer and sales records of customer interactions, sales activities, and customer order history. Using internal Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application(s) to track and manage customer data.

Skills/Experience:

 Qualified individuals must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 2+ years’ experience working in a fast-paced demanding retail or wholesale environment. Knowledge of the video gaming industry and/or Collectibles a plus.

 Position requires proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe, Google Sheets, and other Internet Resources (typing requirements: 45 wpm).

 Strong interpersonal and writing (grammar/spelling) skills needed to interact professionally with customers, by telephone, email, correspondence, etc.

 Must have proven problem-solving skills and be collaborative in a team environment.

Must have a basic understanding of sales techniques and strategies with the willingness to learn and grow.

 Ability to quickly learn the company’s internal processes/controls and general aspects of the job.

 Ability to work efficiently and effectively, adaptable to ever-changing market conditions, and to meet deadlines and cut-off dates.

Wages, Benefits, & Work Schedule:

1. Rate: Minimum $16.00+, plus Commission.

2. M-F (8-hour work shift) plus overtime as needed/required.

3. On occasion, may require local or interstate travel with sales team/management.

4. Individual must be extremely reliable, organized, and able to efficiently multi-tasks & set priorities.

5. Only qualified candidates with previous sales experience will be considered.
