Need a beginner (or someone who wants to learn) editor to help me finalize videos for my clients and I'm willing to train and provide all the equipment and software to use.
I have a small social media management company and can't finish all the edits by myself on time anymore so looking for someone who is familiar with editing but I'll be honest, not looking for someone who has a lot of experience because I noticed they already have their habits and are not willing to follow my instructions on a timely manner.
We focus on quick turn around times with accuracy being our top priority.

For example, I had an editor with 12 years of experience and has even worked for some networks. He asked me if he should remove the background noise, I told him it wasn't that loud and not to focus on it. He ignored my directions and "fixed" the audio but that took an extra 30 minutes which I'm paying for and as a business, we could have used that 30 minutes on another clients video.
and at the end of the day, the customer wouldn't of even noticed or cared about the low background noise, specially since we mask it with music in the background
another example is I had an editor who loved being creative. He would always tell me to do more graphics on my clients reels so they look better. I told him it's not about how it looks, it's the topic of the content that will help it get views. He disagreed and said I wasn't using his full potential.
those reels with graphics take 1-3 hours to do but the simple reels I do take 15-30 minutes with no extra graphics.
so if you feel that I'm wrong because you want to present perfect work, we are not going to work together well but if you follow my direction, we'll work great together.
requirements:
must be 18+ years old
must pay attention to detail on videos
must be creative to come up with ideas or get inspired by trending ideas
no experience in editing needed but need to be willing to learn
must have reliable transportation since we'll be working in an office in corona, ca
No virtual editing. Reason is because I record a lot of files and they take forever to upload and sometimes I don't have good internet. Must be in person
this is a $25 per hour
3-4 hours per day, 3-4 times per week but as the business grows, I'll be raising the hours accordingly.
the times I will want you to work will be from 6p-9p Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday but thats to train you since I record my clients all day, but once you show you can finish videos by yourself, I can work around your schedule and change the times/days.
