Automotive Salesperson – Used Auto Parts

About Us:
We are a growing auto dismantling yard specializing in used parts sales, recycling, and maximizing scrap values. Our focus is on providing high-quality used engines, transmissions, rear axles, and other major components to customers across the Inland Empire, Orange County, and Los Angeles County. We are looking for a knowledgeable and motivated Automotive Salesperson to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in identifying and purchasing used auto parts for various makes and models.
- Accurately identify and differentiate major vehicle components (e.g., engines, transmissions, suspension parts, etc.).
- Provide excellent customer service through phone, in-person, and online inquiries.
- Utilize Checkmate software (major plus) and other sales tools to manage inventory and process orders.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, helping customers while coordinating with the dismantling team.
- Maintain knowledge of current inventory and pricing to optimize sales.
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal team members.
- Assist with online sales platforms and respond to digital inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Automotive experience required – must be able to identify and differentiate major auto parts from used vehicles.
- Tech-savvy – ability to use inventory management software and online sales platforms.
- Excellent communication skills – ability to engage with customers professionally.
- Spanish-speaking is a plus – helpful for serving a diverse customer base.
- Experience working in a salvage yard or junkyard is a major plus.
- Checkmate software experience is a major plus.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
