We are seeking a Construction Manager with at least 5 years of experience specifically in ground-up multifamily construction. This requirement is essential—please do not apply if you do not have ground-up multifamily experience.
This role is ideal for someone with a proven background in ground-up construction projects, project management, and site preparation for new builds.
Key Requirements:
Podium construction experience is crucial
Strong understanding and field experience with Building Type III and S-2 occupancy classifications
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee day-to-day activities on construction sites.
Schedule and manage subcontractors and trades; gather and evaluate bids.
Negotiate with vendors and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Schedule and coordinate required inspections.
Monitor project progress to ensure quality, budget, and timeline goals are met.
Communicate effectively with team members and ownership.
Qualifications:
Ground-up construction experience, specifically multifamily projects (required).
Strong knowledge of construction processes, trades, sequencing, and scheduling.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
