Key Responsibilities
Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents to prepare accurate estimates.
Perform material and labor take-offs for painting projects.
Prepare and submit detailed bids and proposals for single-family, multi-family, and custom
residential projects.
Collaborate with project managers and clients to clarify scope, budgets, and timelines.
Track bid opportunities, maintain organized estimate records, and update pricing databases.
Evaluate and revise estimates as needed for change orders or scope adjustments.
Support operations by ensuring estimates align with production capacity and schedules.
Qualifications
Experience in the single-family, multi-family, or custom home construction industry.
Proven experience in cost estimation and project planning.
Proficiency with estimating software, take-off tools, and spreadsheets.
Strong analytical, mathematical, and blueprint-reading skills.
Knowledge of painting and construction industry standards and practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with team members.
