We are looking for someone with 15+ year of Metal Stud Framing in commercial construction that is well organized.
Tasks:
Ensure the project stays within schedule
Have good communication with Project Manager Daily.
Able to read Blueprints
Determine the number of steel studs needed.
Chalk Line Experience
Must be able to:
● Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
● Observe safety standards and regulations.
● Read, understand, and work from design drawings, sketches, construction documents, and building codes, with or without direct supervision. Plan and layout projects; order materials. Inspect the final work for compliance.
● Resolve problems when they arise.
● Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience and Job requirements:
● Commercial Experience: minimum of 15 years (Required)
● Federal/IDIQ/ Military Construction: 2 years (Preferred)
● Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications
● Ability to adhere to safety regulations, policies, and procedures per company (OSHA and EM-385) requirements
License/Certification:
● OSHA 30 (must have within 30 days of starting work) (Required)
● Real ID Driver's License (Required)
Skills/Qualifications:
● Demonstrated knowledge of the construction industry (relevant codes, safety regulations, etc.)
● Multi-tasking and meeting deadlines
● Ability to perform and communicate in a team environment with co-workers, supervisors, and clients.
● Ability to work and make decisions with minimal supervision
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Prevailing Wageup to $110,000 per year
Schedule: Monday to Thursday (We work Four 10-hour shifts)
