JMG SECURITY SYSTEMS, INC., the premier fire and security systems company in Southern California, has an exciting opportunity for a Fire Tester in the Orange County area. JMG installs and services fire, burglar, CCTV, and card access systems in medium to large, commercial, industrial and retail businesses.
Under general supervision from the Fire Test Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for the proper and timely testing of all systems under contract with JMG (www.jmgsecurity.com). As a field representative, the Fire Tester is responsible for learning proper testing practices, quality standards, NFPA and NEC Code requirements. This is an entry level position and is responsible for providing customer care that exceeds the customer’s expectations and meets the company standards of performance and professionalism.

Requirements:
Excellent customer service and communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years experience of Basic Computer knowledge (emails, Microsoft office, etc.)
Valid driver's license and clear driving record
Must successfully apply or possess an Alarm Company Employee (ACE) registration card issued through California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services.
Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly/frequently required to use hands to finger dexterity, handle or feel objects, push or pull objects, equipment or controls. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., and work at heights up to 75 feet and use/climb ladders. Must be able to drive, sit, stand, crawl, climb, stoop and balance.
