The Crane Operator is responsible for operating a mobile crane to lift, move, position, and reposition loads on commercial and residential properties.
Drive crane to selected job sites (Class A license required)
Control movements of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces
Must do daily inspections, participate in critical lift planning, and the safe operation of cranes
Clean and dress machine and surfaces of component parts
Manipulate rigging lines and hoist to move or support materials
Selects gear, shackles, and cables according to load size, weight, and height
