JOB DESCRIPTION
The Delivery Driver works as part of the team in providing auto parts delivery service and daily pickups or deliveries from branches to our headquarters.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivers auto parts to our clients at different locations, as required per route sheets issued
Loads and unloads parts
Checks parts against delivery documents to ensure accuracy before deliveries
Inspects parts for damage before leaving the headquarters for deliveries
Keeps truck clean inside and out
Drives truck in a safe manner at all times, always wearing safety belt
Delivers parts and have recipients sign for parts and receive payment
Reports maintenance problems to the dispatcher or supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
A clean driving record Must be able to present valid driver's license and a complete DMV report.
Basic math skills
Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds without assistance
Good attention to detail for verifying accuracy of parts picked up and delivered
