The ideal candidate will operate heavy machinery such as reach stackers, cranes, or forklifts to efficiently stack, unstack, and organize containers while adhering to strict safety protocols. Qualifications and Requirements
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a container stacking operator.
Certifications: Valid operator's license for heavy machinery (e.g., forklift, crane certification). OSHA or equivalent safety training preferred.
Skills: Proficient in operating reach stackers and empty container side handlers. Strong understanding of container stacking patterns (e.g., pyramid or block stacking) to maximize space and stability.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, and lift up to 25 lbs.
Other: Basic computer skills for logging operations. Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred: Experience with automated yard management systems or familiarity with how to read container numbers.
