Required to apply:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic (DD13 engine & computer software or similar)
Have own tools – enough for the job
Able to climb, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, etc. to repair vehicles
Ability to work full time and overtime hours as needed
Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation
Live within 45 minutes of our Lucerne Valley Facility
Must be a team player with a flexible schedule to fill in as needed throughout our facility
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition
Conduct inspections to determine vehicle condition
Trouble shoot and diagnose engine problems and perform necessary repairs
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Communicate effectively with management and team members
Provide after-hours road calls as needed
