Required to apply:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic (computer software and / or similar)
Able to climb, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, etc. to repair vehicles
Ability to work full time and after hours as needed
Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation
Familiarity with DOT and OSHA regulations
Communication in English
Preferred but not required:
Class A License
Welding/Fabrication
Bilingual (English and / or Spanish)
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition
Conduct inspections to determine vehicle condition
Trouble shoot and diagnose engine problems and perform necessary repairs
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Communicate effectively with management and team members
Provide after-hours road calls as needed and report to superior.
