We are looking for an experienced OPERATOR WITH HEAVY DUTY TOWING AND RECOVERY EXPERIENCE to add to our team. Applicant must be able to be operate a heavy duty truck and perform on recoveries. We are looking for a career minded individual looking to plant roots and become part of our team. Pay is negotiable based upon experience. Relocation assistance is available to the right candidate.
Essential Job Functions:
The duties of a tow truck operator consist of communicating with a dispatcher, driving to the scene of an accident or breakdown, rigging for recovery or hooking to the vehicle to transport back to the yard or further destination. Drivers will interact with customers, speaking to them about their breakdown issues, potentially helping to diagnose the cause and providing necessary assistance. A tow truck operator will need to be able to communicate well and will need to have a basic knowledge of trucks and their components. At times drivers will be required to perform minor repairs on the scene of a breakdown such, replacing a fitting or reconnecting parts, or jumpstarting a vehicle. An operator is required to speak with agency officers and manage an accident scene with confidence, The Operator will be required to provide pictures and written information regarding each recovery for proper billing and training purposes.

Must have:

At least 23 years old
Experience:
Relevant: 5 years (Preferred)
Rotator: 2 years (Preferred Plus)
Heavy Wrecker: 6 years (Required)
Class A CDL: 5 + years (Preferred)
