Provides assistance in route design, scheduling, service planning, and implementation duties in support of VVTA’s fixed route, commuter, deviated, intercity, lifeline, and complementary Micro-Transit services. Monitors system performance and conducts special studies, surveys, and research assignments, and identifies recommendations for service improvements. Conducts field investigations to assess service performance. Coordinates production and placement of informational Transit Tube inserts. Identifies locations for the placement, relocation and/or removal for all proposed and existing bus stops and zones. Tracks, updates, and maintains the physical locations of active bus stops. Manages VVTA’s Random Trip Sampling program for National Transit Database (NTD) reporting.
