Seeking Full-Time Employee for New Moving Business
We are looking for 1-2 new part-time employees, with the opportunity to become full-time in the near future. Monarch Moving is dedicated to giving customers a hands-off experience, making the moving experience as easy as possible. We offer moves within 300 miles of Riverside, within CA from packing to long-distance moves. We are looking for hard-working, detail-oriented, and reliable individuals with a flexible schedule.
We pay weekly, with overtime after 8 hours in the day. Starting pay for the position is $20 per hour, with an increase of $1 per year of employment (up to $30 per hour). Drivers/ foremen begin at $25. When the position opens, current members of the team are first to be considered. Uniforms and safety equipment are provided, and we offer a 401k available right away. You must be employed for 3 years to be fully vested.
What we need from you:
Authorization to work in the United States
A clean Class C driver’s license
The willingness to drive large trailers and trucks (experience preferred)
Comfortable with physical labor (experience preferred)
A dedication to safety at all times
The attitude to learn each day and roll with the punches
Reliable transportation to and from our warehouse in Riverside
Relevant Skills
Lifting and carrying
Safe, attentive driving
Heavy lifting up to 100 lbs
Hand truck use/ 4-wheeler use
Frequent pushing and pulling
Use of stairs and ramps
Assembly and disassembly of furniture
Teamwork
While experience in the moving business is not a requirement, you must know that this is an incredibly physical job. It will be hot, you will be tired. The work will require repeated bending and crouching, the lifting of objects up to 100 lbs, and working face-to-face with customers. You will need to be able to coordinate in potentially stressful situations and work well as a team.
