Walking Floor Trailer Driver (to be considered please submit a resume)
We are seeking a reliable, safety conscious and experienced Walking Floor Trailer Driver to join our team in Riverside County, CA. This role involves operating specialized trailers designed for bulk material transport, with a focus on safety, efficiency, reliability and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Walking Floor Trailers: Safely drive and maneuver walking floor trailers to transport bulk materials and products.
Loading & Unloading: Use the trailer’s hydraulic walking floor system to unload cargo without tipping and causing damage to equipment. Ensure proper weight distribution and secure loads.
Route Execution: Follow assigned routes across local or regional areas. Use GPS and dispatch instructions to meet delivery schedules.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Report mechanical issues and ensure the trailer and tractor are in top condition.
Compliance: Adhere to DOT regulations, maintain accurate logs, and follow company safety protocols.
Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients and site personnel during pickups and deliveries. Represent the company with integrity and courtesy.
Qualifications
Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
Minimum 2 years’ experience operating walking floor trailers (specific job training may be provided)
Familiarity with FMCSA regulations and maintaining drive, fuel and hour logs
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Physical ability and capability to handle manual tasks and long hours

Early morning starts and weekend work. Hours are subject to change based on company needs
Exposure to outdoor environments and bulk material handling sites
