Job Description

This company is in Orange County and is a leader in asset management that is focused on mortality-based financial products like reverse mortgages, life settlements, and other actuarial & longevity assets. They are looking for a Data Engineer to come in and work on their financial models that tracks the price of policies throughout their platform utilizing Python, Numpy, Pandas, and SQL. Along with this, experience with risk and financial models is a plus. This is a Full-Time role that can offer a competitive compensation of $135k-150k, depending on experience.
Required Skills & Experience

• Has developed software solutions utilizing Python in past experiences
• Utilizes SQL database to query or insert/ update data in relational databases
• Previous experience using Python's Pandas for data analysis

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience using Financial and risk models
• Experience in the Financial industry is strongly desired
• Past work experience with Excel Queries is a plus
• A background in software engineering is strongly desired

• 60% Hands On
