We are seeking an experienced, accomplished, self-motivated Electrical Engineer to maintain and support our Aerospace, Tactical, Life Sciences and Industrial Products and Systems. Will work cross- functionally with groups directly involved in engineering, product development, and implementation. Must be an inventive problem solver capable of working through technical challenges and employing pragmatic solutions.

What you will be doing:
  • Evaluate electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials
  • Confirm systems' and components' capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties
  • Develop electrical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials
  • Develop product specifications that meet or exceed customer requirements and that are within customer and Company deadlines and budget
  • Assure product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities
  • Maintain product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations
  • Create HDL code and/or “C” code that meet/exceed requirements and specifications
  • Create electronic hardware designs that meet/exceed product requirements and specifications
  • Generate documentation for designs, including design analysis and “as built” measurements and results
  • Complete detailed design analysis and documentation to support high level customer product functionality and reliability reviews
  • Prepare for, attend and make technical presentations to existing and prospective clients
  • Systems integration and testing

What you need to qualify:
  • 7+ years' electrical engineering experience in a highly technical, R&D, and/or manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, electronic schematics, and software flowcharts
  • Experience designing flight and military-grade hardware a plus
  • Thermal and structural analysis experience a plus
  • Due to federal security clearance requirements, the applicant must be a United States Citizen
