A software company is looking for a hands on Software Development Manager to oversee 4 people. This Manager will be responsible for developing out new consumer focuses initiatives used by thousands that generate millions of dollars in revenue. The ideal candidate should have previous start-up experience working in a fast-paced environment using technologies like relational databases (SQL, MySQL), Java and Spring.
Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years Software Engineering experience
• 3+ years leading/mentoring small teams
• Experience managing small cross functional teams including front and back end development (Java, JavaScript, Spring, AWS)
• Proficiency with relational databases (SQL, MySQL)
• Experience partnering with Product Management teams to optimize processes
• Proficient with agile methodologies

Desired Skills & Experience

• Start-up or experience working in a 30-100 person company
