Job Details
The Principal UX Designer will lead design of our core platform in the Video/iOT security space. This role is a unique opportunity to work in a culture that embraces ownership and autonomy. As a Principal UX owner, you balance leading and defining product direction with being a hands-on contributor of core features from definition to delivery, for a company with tenants that include customer is king.
Qualifications:
7+ years as a UX Designer, 3+ years in a senior role with at least one SaaS product or enterprise application design under your belt
A product thinker that understands the bigger picture in scale and expanding product market fit
Must be capable of being full-hands on executing high quality UX/UI
Ability to evangelize and mentor the value of design across an organization
Thoughtfully knows when to use data driven decisions vs. design instinct
An understanding of Customer Experience and strategy to implement customer research and metrics
Bonus Qualifications:
A passion and interest for video or iOT technology/devices and how design plays a role in these
Have examples of self-started design projects you've done outside of work (what's your passion?)
Able to work with front-end code enough to build out concepts or prototypes
Experience designing for video players or a passion for data analytics and dashboard design
