Main Duties & Responsibilities: - Play an integral role with the design, development, implementation, and support of a scalable AWS cloud architecture for customers. - Lead discovery sessions with customers to capture and document the customers' technical environment. - Illustrate the customers system environment, network environment, security standards, authentication standards, data management standards, and data flows. - Document a proposed technical solution that integrates company products into clients' technical environment, including integration approach, authentication model, and data flow. - Effectively present the proposed technical solution to senior customer IT stakeholders. - Ensure company products and the proposed integrated solution meet the customers’ requirements for security, performance, extensibility, reliability, and scalability. - Coordinate the escalation and resolution of customer concerns to necessary business units. - Design and lead engineering sprints to configure and extend company products to meet customer requirements including the addition of reports, dashboards, workflows, input forms, branding, data ingestion, data extraction, data enrichment, and data transformation. - Work with customers on recurring subscriptions to their data sets, including managing expectations during the sales, contracting, delivery, UAT, and support phases. - Accurately estimate the scope, schedule, and resourcing for the technical design, build, and QA. - Lead a team of solution architects, application engineers, data engineers, and product specialists. - Travel not to exceed 35% after COVID. Skills & Requirements: - 10+ years of software engineering experience and 6+ years of experience of solution architecture experience designing complex customer programs. - Experience with enterprise B2B SaaS products. - Experience developing and deploying AWS cloud-based solutions. - Strong experience with SQL Server and/or MySQL. - Strong working knowledge and proficiency in the following technologies: JavaScript, jQuery, OOD, Restful APIs, Python, & Asynchronous Programming. - Strong manager of teams including proven success building teams, recruiting team members, setting goals, evaluating performance, and mentoring. - Proven ability to provide technical leadership for a portfolio of customer programs. - BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or relate field is highly preferred. - Outstanding organization, communication (verbal, written, presentation), analytical and interpersonal skills. - Proven track record performing in dynamic environments and managing multiple, extremely varied tasks with tight deadlines. - Ability to navigate internal and external obstacles to achieve goals. - Passionate about the application of technology to solve critical business problems. - Experience with any of the following is highly preferred: GIS, data science, UX, Java, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL, OOD, Asynchronous Programming, HTML, XML, Python.
