Job DescriptionJoin the Clean Energy RevolutionBecome a Marketing and Digital Communications Advisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll be a part of the team that is redefining the way SCE markets its programs and services to all business and residential customer segments to drive more efficient marketing outcomes and improve the overall service experience for SCE customers. You’ll accomplish this by leading cross-functional teams comprised of members from across SCE, as well as external partners, vendors, and stakeholders. Working in collaboration with Product / Program owners, you’ll typically handle a budget of approximately $5-20MM and lead a portfolio of marketing programs reporting directly to the Senior Manager. You’ll work at both strategic and tactical levels, placing a strong focus on innovation, technology enablement, compliance and performance. This role will require a heavy bias towards the application of digital marketing technology (Martech), showing strength in data literacy, and excellent project management.A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!
Marketing Programs: Lead marketing programs related to Affordability and Rates, ensuring consistent objective achievement, maintaining continuity, and delivering efficient performance.
Strategic Planning: Formulate and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for Business (B2B) and Residential (B2C) Customers. This includes acquisition, retention, lead generation, automated offer management, integrated campaign management, and multi-channel media through data-driven strategies.
Technical Skills & Marketing Expertise: Apply a blend of technical skills and marketing expertise to maximize the use of SCE’s Martech stack to implement, monitor, and optimize automated marketing campaigns.
Customer Experience: Recommend and implement improvements to the digital customer experience to ensure customer adoption of programs and services.
Performance Metrics: Develop and track performance metrics to measure the success of marketing and digital plans while clearly demonstrating return on investment.
Project Management: Execute and manage projects using both vendors and in-house staff, demonstrating a hands-on approach when necessary.
Regulatory Navigation: Actively navigate a complex regulatory environment, collaborating with the California Public Utility Commission and other state utilities in California to implement statewide programs and mandates.
The Essentials
Five to Seven years of experience in marketing strategic planning, direct response marketing (all channels), database marketing or project coordination (project scope, cost, and schedule) in Marketing, Advertising or Communications.
Experience implementing automated offer management using Salesforce Marketing Cloud or equivalent enterprise-grade multi-channel marketing hub.
Experience with multi-channel marketing strategy and planning. (media, banner, radio, etc) driven by sophisticated analytics and data modeling.
Vendor management experience.
The Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
Utility or other highly regulated industry experience.
Experience with enterprise marketing software – Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Marketo, Adobe Exp. or Cloud.
Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment.
You should know
This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.

The primary work location for this position is Irwindale, CA. However, the successful candidate may also be asked to work for an extended amount of time at (alternate work location).
Position will require up to 10% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory.
Relocation does not apply to this position.
