JOB SUMMARY
The Technical lead is responsible for understanding Apria's landscape end-to-end. Technical lead will provide solutions to application teams regarding integrations between all application platforms, ensuring that all business standards and service levels are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead all areas of the software development and delivery process.
Lead team to apply technical and industry expertise in the diagnosis of business problems, evaluation of solution alternatives and delivery of reusable systems solutions in all application environments
Understand and champion the solution at all level - Infrastructure, Application, Integrations
Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into system specific functional requirements
Facilitate communication between developers and tech leads, architects, product owners, business analysts, end users, testers, operations and support roles.
Provide the structure, planning and mentoring for developers to succeed in:
Analyzing requirements.
Defining, prioritizing & estimating stories and tasks.
Evaluate design alternatives, and perform cost benefit analysis
Designing & documenting technical components.
Completing coding tasks.
Code reviews technical leads and architects.
Writing & automating relevant unit tests.
Creating implementation plans.
Completing close-down requirements.
Work with architects and management to plan & prepare for upcoming initiatives.
Monitor sprint status, maintain essential progress, and provide reports & insights to Management.
Build a practice of lean-agile disciplines (measure, assess, adjust/pivot) for continual improvement.
Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Required Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience
Four-years college degree or equivalent experience is required
Extensive project management experiences
Eight years related experience is required
15+ years matrix Technical project and line management experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
Excellent leadership skills with 5+ years of experience in building & leading software engineering teams in scrum and agile methodologies .
Experience as a software developer in one or more languages such as Java, C/C, or NodeJS.
Hands on experience with Cloud platform such as AWS or Azure
Experience building robust solutions that interact with RDBMS, document, queue, topic and file data
Strong technical understanding of microservices & functions with their respective use cases.
Experience delivering mission-critical applications onto one or more container orchestration platforms (i.e., Kubernetes, OpenShift).
Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Maven, GitHub a plus
Demonstrates a full understanding of Continuous Integration and development
Ability to communicate relevant aspects of the architecture to non-technical stakeholders .
Proven ability to inform and motivate domain teams, driving the mission and vision of the organization.
Ability to effectively prioritize, communicate and manage multiple concurrent projects.
Excellent communication and organization skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. It also may require occasional lifting, carrying, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending/stooping, twisting, pulling/pushing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching above the shoulder. This position also may require the occasional lifting of equipment up to 50 lbs.
