Job Description

Purpose of position:

Manage staff and 3rd party storage locations to ensure all aspects for frozen inventory storage is properly placed by warehouse to ensure a high level of service to meet customer requirements. Manage weekly, monthly and annual storage space requirements. Work directly with all (18+) 3rd party outside cold storage facilities to ensure all Foster Farms inventory tracking, receipts and outbound shipments to customers meet Foster Farms requirements. Train and monitor staff as needed to ensure all Foster Farms invoicing from 3rd party storage locations is completed in timely and accurately.

Maintain and the Mock Recall process to ensure timely and accurate reporting is available in the event of an actual Recall, complete all trace requests from QA as requested in 2 hours or less, and coordinate and monitor all Critical Hold tasks to ensure all product is accounted for, moved back to Foster Farms location and checked daily until final disposition is completed.

Essential Job Functions:

Manage Frozen inventory levels and age by locations

Manage all Customers requirements shipping from 3rd party locations.

Support all QA requests related to Mock Recalls, Trace and Critical Hold

Manage inventory movements all Frozen co-packers

Create Storage requirements weekly, monthly, annually

Manage and assist outside cold facilities with delivery issues

Monitor frozen product moves to reduce transportation costs daily

Additional Functions:

Special projects to expand / improve department and systems as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in business, statistics, or related field.

Ability to direct and manage employees / and Vendors

Ability to collaborate with internal managers to ensure cross functional results are met.

Five years of production planning, inventory control and distribution or related experience.

Five years of supervisory experience preferred.

Excellent public speaking communication, organization and planning skills.

Advanced Excel and knowledge of systems (SAP-ECC, EWM, BW, APO).

Strong analytical skills

Ability to solve problems in a detailed manner and be decisive.
