What to expect at the job fair?

A face covering will be required to enter the facility. Please bring a face covering, bandanna or scarf to cover your mouth and nose.

All individuals will be required to participate in a wellness screening for COVID-19 related symptoms and temperature check.

If a candidate has not already applied for a position with Foster Farms online, they will be instructed to using their smartphone or iPad/tablet provided by Foster Farms.

Candidates may also be required to complete additional paper documentation after the online application is submitted.

Following a successful interview with our HR team member, an offer for employment can be made and a drug test will be conducted along with a request for a background check. All offers are contingent on passing a both post offer pre-employment drug screen and background check.

After completing the drug screen candidates can exit the facility and will be contacted once the results of the background check is received to schedule an orientation and FIRST DAY!

You will need to bring a photo identification card and at least one document that verifies work authorization with you on the day of the job fair.

Qualifications

• Must possess necessary tools to perform repairs.
• Previous exposure to heavy duty truck servicing is helpful.
• Must be able to communicate in English, which includes reading and writing legibly.
• Must have a valid California driver’s license and driving record must conform to Foster Farms guidelines.
• Ability to move tractor/trailer combinations.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and be self-motivated.
• Must be able to progress to a higher tech level.
• Must be able to work safely and help maintain a safe work environment.
• Must be able to lift up 50 pounds.
• Must be able to climb in and out of trucks continually throughout the shift.
• Must be able to bend over, squat down and push and pull.
