DescriptionThe NISC IV Training Group (NTG) within the Leidos is looking for a highly motivated individual for a Program Analyst role to join our team in Vandenberg, CA supporting the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Office of Commercial Space Transportation (AST). This role provides program management and technical support required to accomplish tasks consistent with the FAA Acquisition Management System. This support is essential to the successful planning, development, and implementation of AST mission activities.NOTE: Candidate will be required to report for onsite work 2-3 days per week.Primary Responsibilities:
Offer accurate and timely management support for various tasks and projects.
Participate as a member of a government-led team, including attending meetings between the FAA and Contractors to review scopes of work and objectives.
Conduct research and coordinate actions and issues identified by the AST, ensuring effective resolution and follow-up.
Develop, implement, and maintain Standardized Operational Procedure (SOP) documents as needed.
Prepare, publish, and maintain meeting minutes.
Complete required reports for annual, quarterly, and other periodic program reviews as requested.
Provide business process, administrative, and office management support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the AST office, with a focus on HR functions.
Develop, prepare, and coordinate AST program-related correspondence and assist in processing and tracking program-related actions.
Track urgent actions and manage office activities and functions, including addressing employee concerns.
Research, interpret, and apply written procedures, regulations, or policies related to travel, time and attendance, and other administrative programs, with a focus on compliance with HR standards.
Possesses a strong HR background, to effectively address and manage diverse employee needs.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience or a Master's degree and up to 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Additional years of related work experience may be substituted for a degree at the hiring managers discretion.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Microsoft Project.
Excellent writing skills compatible with producing, editing, and distributing Senior and Executive level management correspondence; to include analytical spreadsheets and graphical information.
Must have excellent customer service and communication (oral & written) skills necessary to interact with Senior and Executive level management, as well as foster an environment of cooperation between different departments and co-workers.
Must be able to multi-task, tracking project schedule development, project control, risk management practices/issues, and project documentation processing/archiving between multiple teams.
Automation software expertise to produce/edit documents, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint slides for executive meetings.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's Degree in Project Management and 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
Experience with preparing briefing packages for Senior and Executive level management.
Previous experience as a team member supporting operations or logistics to the FAA or other Federal Agencies.
