Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Global Forwarding Coordinator. In this role, you will be a part of our team, where you will be primarily involved in international shipping processes, from handling purchase orders to ensuring the delivery of cargo at the ultimate destination. Responsibilities Respond to inquiries and resolve issues related to international shipping, demonstrating problem resolution skills. Provide backup support for delivery and turnovers. Conduct audits of load, ensuring adherence to standard operation procedures. Generate and maintain up-to-date customer records, reports, and shipment documentation. Assist global forwarding personnel with reporting and documentation collection, ensuring data integrity. Provide tracking and tracing services for customer shipments. Demonstrate proficiency in Spanish and English language for written and verbal communication. Use Microsoft Office Suites to manage and process work effectively. Adhere to government agency regulations and company standards. Support a diverse and inclusive work environment, promoting creativity and innovation.Requirements Proficiency in Customer Service, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills Ability to handle Documentation and Reporting tasks efficiently Familiarity with 'About Time' and Auditing processes Knowledge of Shipping Functions and Collection Processes Fluency in English and Spanish languages Understanding of Regulation and Purchase Orders in a global context Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and Backup Technologies Ability to follow Standard Operation Procedures Creativity and Innovation skills to improve work processes Problem Resolution skills to handle unexpected challenges Excellent Phone Etiquette and Written Communication abilities Experience with Third Party collaborations and maintaining Data Integrity Knowledge of Cargo handling and promoting Business Growth Ability to Ensure Adherence to company policies and procedures Knowledge of Discrimination Laws to maintain a fair and inclusive workplace environment ­Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
