Women’s Apparel manufacturer in DTLA Arts District is seeking an experienced & qualified bookkeeper to support small independently woman-owned wholesale, retail, and online sales business.
Seeking:
Committed Independent contractor to work on premises at design studio with owner every 2 weeks for approximately 20 hrs per month with some remote work too, along with in person meetings.
Compensation:
$28-$33/hr based on professional experience and references
Background check will be required

Requirements:
- Experienced in small business wholesale Apparel Manufacturing and at least 2-4 years working as an independent contractor as a bookkeeper
-Proficient in online QuickBooks and MS-Office, Word, & Excel
-Experience with Shopify, ADP payroll, PayPal, Square, and Venmo
-Knowledge with sales tax filing and 1099s
-Strong organizational and analytical skills
-Excellent communication/follow-up in accordance with Admin department
-Excellent written and verbal skills
Responsibilities:
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks
-Process A/P and A/R transactions with projected budget
-Payroll processing bi-weekly through ADP
-Perform monthly bank/CC reconciliation
-Prepare monthly financial reports, quarterlies, balance sheets & year-end projected budgeting reports
-Quarterly sales tax
-Provide cashflow reports bi-weekly
-Support & manage in various bookkeeping duties, admin, mail, filing, and interdepartmental communications
