We are excited to announce an excellent opportunity to join our client’s team as a temporary Bookkeeper for 2 months plus maybe forever! This position is a vital role, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, and will be a key support member of the finance team. The Bookkeeper will be primarily responsible for maintaining the books and records for the organization and its subsidiaries, contributing to achieving their mission and executing growth plans.
Key responsibilities include managing all accounts payables, processing and maintaining invoices, initiating wires and bank cash transfers, and handling QuickBooks journal entries. The role will also involve reconciling journal entries for corporate credit cards and producing daily cash reports for the CEO. The Bookkeeper will coordinate with third-party accounting vendors to ensure that records are current and accurate while working closely with internal fund accounting teams and fund administrators to keep fund records up to date.
We’re seeking a highly organized individual with at least two years of bookkeeping experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, and proficiency in Excel, Word, and the Office Suite. The ideal candidate will also have experience with QuickBooks, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to build and maintain internal and external partnerships. In our client’s fast-paced environment, it's crucial for the Bookkeeper to be entrepreneurial in spirit, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking while meeting critical deadlines.
