Job Description:

As an Accountant at EverFence Corporation, you will contribute significantly to our financial operations by managing collections, accounts receivable, and high-volume accounts payable. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and results-driven individual who is eager to support the financial success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

Collections: Actively contact clients to follow up on overdue invoices, resolve payment issues, and negotiate payment arrangements to ensure timely collections.

Accounts Receivable: Oversee accounts receivable processes, including accurate invoicing, tracking, and receipt of payments, as well as reconciling client accounts.

Accounts Payable: Efficiently manage a high volume of accounts payable transactions, including processing vendor invoices, expense reports, and ensuring timely payments while maintaining precise records.

Communication: Collaborate with team members, clients, and vendors to resolve financial discrepancies and provide exceptional customer service.

Certified Payroll: Maintain complete and accurate records for all projects (including DAS-140, DAS-142, Exemption Letter, DAS-7, Fringe Benefit Statement, Statement of Non-Performance, Statement of Compliance, and Skilled and Trained Workforce). Prepare, review, and submit weekly certified payroll and reports; upload Certified Payroll reports for DIR and Non-DIR jobs through LCP Tracker and other labor compliance software as applicable (i.e., eMars, etc.).

Other: Complete pre-quals, process W9s, complete project pre-lims, and other responsibilities as assigned by the Controller

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting roles, with a strong focus on collections, accounts receivable, and high-volume accounts payable.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with Xero.

Familiarity with LCP Tracker (Labor Compliance Program) is a plus.

Salary: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
