We are a small boutique CPA Firm in Woodland Hills that is looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to assist our CPA’s in a fast-paced office with a wide range of clients in various industries. The ideal candidate must be detailed oriented and understand the bookkeeping/accounting process from start to finish.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience in a CPA office
Must have strong computer skills including QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, Excel, Word
Tech-savvy, comfortable using various software and applications
Knowledge of Accounting CS, Lacerte and the ability to prepare small business tax returns is not required but a plus
Strong understanding of financial concepts including double entry bookkeeping and account reconciliation
Ability to communicate and interreact professionally with clients and tax agencies
Self-motivated
Must work under strict deadlines and manage multiple clients
Enthusiastic and demonstrate the ability to learn and work efficiently
Be an important part of a team in a small accounting office setting
Job Duties including but not limited to:
Write-up work (monthly, quarterly and annual)
Posting to a general ledger, journal entries through preparation of financial statements
Bank reconciliations
Business Management
Client payroll and quarterly/annual payroll tax returns & W-2’s
1099’s
Sales tax returns (multi-state)
City business tax filings
Property tax statement filings
This is an in-person, full-time position with potential overtime on weekends during the busy season.
