Looking for a Junior Accountant wanting to grow with our fashion company. Must have worked in the Fashion Industry.
Our client is seeking a personable and comprehensive team player who is an extremely organized, proactive multi-tasker with an attention to detail and excellent communication and time management skills.
Full-time position and ready to work with a small team. Must be able to work in a highly analytical, fast paced environment with a hands-on approach.
Qualifications
1. At least 3 years of working experience in accounting.
2. Must be proficient in QuickBooks, Word, and Excel.
3. A college degree in finance or related field is a plus.
4. Must have worked in a Fashion company.
Responsibilities
1. This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
2. Has an overall responsibility for the areas of Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Budget Managing
3. Works closely with Chief Financial Officer to establish, implement and maintain effective accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
4. Experience in Priority Troubleshooting with the ability to communicate properly with all the people involved
5. Issue timely, accurate and complete financial statements and analysis
6. Evaluate existing accounting systems and processes and implement changes to create efficiencies.
7. Assist senior management and product team on management and control of inventory.
