ForTech Solutions Inc. is an established audio-visual company specializing in residential, private commercial, and public projects. We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to help manage our financial records and support our growing business.
Responsibilities:
- Balance financial statements and ensure accuracy in reporting
- Enter and categorize transactions in QuickBooks Desktop
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts regularly
- Prepare and generate financial reports as needed
- Maintain organized financial records for audits and tax purposes
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop (mandatory)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations
- Ability to generate and analyze financial reports
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with small businesses in the AV, construction, or service industries
- Familiarity with public project billing and change orders is a plus
Schedule & Compensation:
- Part-time (Flexible hours, estimated 16 to 20 hours per week)
