The rapid growth in the PROPERTY MANAGEMENT department at illi Commercial Real Estate www.illicre.com has us looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join our Property Management Accounting Team! Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for integrity of financial and property management data, including producing and auditing Financials (monthly/quarterly/annual), overview of Tenant Billings, Cash Receipts, Accounts Receivable, Lease Administration, plus Special Projects & Analysis
Make all accounting entries as needed on closings/acquisitions/sales, etc.
Direct and oversee CAM Format, CAM Billings, CAM Reconciliations, etc.
Review and interpret lease agreements (as it pertains to rent, billings, CAM recs, budgets, etc).
Oversee Rent Rolls, Tenant Lease Files, etc.
Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable
Review client Financial Statements (monthly, quarterly, annually)
Cash management on all property accounts
Deliver lender required reports (monthly, quarterly, annually)
Process tax and other necessary filings (federal, state and local)
Assist Controller with items as necessary/applicable
Required Work Experience:
5-7+ years of experience in commercial real estate property accounting
Strong accounting/finance background
Experience with Appfolio software a PLUS
Very strong Excel skills
