We are looking for a Staff Accountant for our private equity firm. This role is based in Los Angeles.
The ideal candidate should have:
-Some experience in the private equity/venture capital industry
-Processing fund management fees
-Processing portfolio fees
-Previous experience with Bill.com or Expensify.
-Preparing and Reviewing financial statements
-Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulations
Competencies:
-Attention to detail and accuracy
-Proficiency in the following computer applications areas: Excel (intermediate level)
-Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
-Strong written and verbal communication skills including an articulate and professional demeanor
-Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with a can-do attitude
-Must be able to work well with others and meet deadlines
